Are you being denied your court ordered visitation?
Probably the most common problem I encounter
is denied visitation. Even though you would want to believe that no parent would deprive their child of a relationship
with the other parent, it happens far too often.
If you do not already have a custody and visitation order, the
first step is to get one. If you already have an order and are still being denied contact then it becomes a matter of enforcement.
The most common tools used to enforce a court order are the Contempt Citation and Motion to Enforce Visitation.
My experience
is that the court will enforce visitation orders and takes very seriously matters where court orders are being denied. However,
the court can not help you unless and until you take the proper legal steps to bring the matter before the court.
